Fabric & Construction
We chose a soft cotton-blend denim for the Universal Thread women’s cinched denim jacket because it offers the durability of traditional denim without the stiff break-in period. The fabric includes a hint of stretch fiber, so the jacket moves with you whether you’re reaching, layering, or cinching the ties.
The medium wash features subtle whiskering at the elbows and chest, giving each jacket a lived-in character right out of the package. We reinforced the side seams where the cinch ties attach, ensuring the ties stay secure through repeated wear and washing. Bartack stitching at stress points—pocket corners, button plackets, and cuff openings—means this jacket holds up season after season.

Care Instructions
